Pure Arginine from Canadian brand XPN is a flavoured L-arginine powder. Arginine is the amino acid involved in the metabolic pathway that produces nitric oxide (NO); it is a key ingredient in pre-workout products.

Recommended use or purpose: L-Arginine is a non-essential amino acid that contributes to protein synthesis. Helps to contribute to a modest increase in exercise capacity in individuals with stable cardiovascular disease (CVD).
Duration of use: If you have cardiovascular disease, consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks.
Recommended dose: Adults. Take 2 scoops per day. Mix with 250 ml of water.
Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if your cardiovascular condition worsens, if you have kidney/renal disease or are following a low-protein diet, if you have cardiovascular disease and want to increase your level of physical activity, or if you are taking medications to treat cardiovascular disease, medications for erectile dysfunction, and/or anticoagulants.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have had a heart attack/myocardial infarction.
Known adverse reactions: Some people may experience gastrointestinal disturbances (such as diarrhea).
