XPN Fiber-X – psyllium fibre (180 capsules)
Fiber-X from Canadian brand XPN is a simple way to add psyllium fibre to your diet. Each capsule contains 650 mg of select, high-quality psyllium husk.

Who is it for?
For adults who want to add fibre to their diet or relieve occasional constipation. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing or diabetes that is hard to control. May cause flatulence or bloating.
How to use
Adults: 1 dose twice per day, with at least 30 ml of liquid per gram of psyllium, and 2 hours apart from other medications. Drink plenty of fluids. See the Directions and Warnings tabs.

Recommended use or purpose: Used in herbal medicine as a mucilaginous / bulk-forming laxative. Used in herbal medicine to facilitate bowel movements by increasing the bulk and water content of the stool Used in herbal medicine to gently relieve constipation and/or irregularity.
Recommended dose: Adults. Take 1 scoop, twice a day. Effects seen within 12 to 24 hours after the first dose and, sometimes, after 2 to 3 days. For each gram of psyllium, mix with 30 ml of liquid (water, milk, fruit juice or any other similar beverage). Shake vigorously and drink immediately. Drink plenty of liquids. Take 2 hours before or after other medications.
Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if symptoms worsen or if constipation persists beyond 7 days of use, if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this product, if you are taking medications that inhibit peristaltic movement (e.g. opioids, loperamide), if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever (these symptoms may be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, a disease of the esophagus or the upper opening of the stomach (cardia), an existing or potential bowel obstruction, paralysis of the bowel, megacolon, faecal impaction, inflammation of the colon or appendicitis).
Contraindications: Do not use if you have noticed a change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, if you have undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or if you have failed to have a bowel movement after the use of another laxative product. Do not use if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood glucose levels are difficult to regulate. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing.
Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, may occur following inhalation and/or ingestion of psyllium. If so, stop use. May cause flatulence and/or bloating. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Keep out of reach of children. A fibre with sensational flavours.
