5-HTP from Canadian brand XPN provides 100 mg of L-5-hydroxytryptophan per capsule, isolated from Griffonia simplicifolia seed. 5-HTP is an amino acid the body makes from tryptophan and that is converted into serotonin in the brain.

Contraindications: Do not use if you have scleroderma.
Known adverse reactions: Drowsiness may occur in some people. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery or any other motor vehicle, or if engaging in an activity requiring mental alertness. Some people may experience diarrhea, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain.
