Recommended use or purpose: Multivitamin and multimineral supplement. Source of vitamins and minerals that help maintain good health and support normal growth and development, and that support biological functions playing a key role in the maintenance of good health. Source of antioxidants that help protect against oxidative stress and fight the oxidative damage caused by free radicals; antioxidant that protects the fats in body tissues from oxidation.

Recommended dose: Adults (19 years and older): 2 capsules, once a day.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have kidney stones, a liver disorder or iron deficiency; if you have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer, or if you have cancer; if you have cardiovascular disease, diabetes or a kidney disorder; if you smoke tobacco; if you are taking blood thinners, blood pressure medication or prescription medications, as resveratrol may alter their effectiveness. Consult a health care practitioner if the frequency of migraines increases or if the accompanying nausea and vomiting persist or worsen. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms such as sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness or confusion (these symptoms may be caused by low blood sugar), or symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness or loss of appetite.

Contraindications: Do not use with other supplements containing potassium or with salt substitutes containing potassium. Do not use if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Known adverse reactions: Some people may experience diarrhea. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with products containing green tea extract have been reported in Canada and internationally. Nicotinic acid may cause flushing (redness accompanied by warmth) in sensitive individuals; this effect is generally mild and transient. Zinc supplementation may cause copper deficiency; if you are unsure whether you are taking enough copper, consult a health care practitioner. May cause nausea, abdominal pain or diarrhea.
